When you use GoldMine DG, we collect the following personal information:

• Email address — used to create and authenticate your login account.
• Full name — used to display your identity within the App and attribute work records to you.
• Photos and videos — uploaded by you and attached to work orders for maintenance documentation.
• User-generated content — including work order titles, descriptions, notes, comments, asset records, and task updates that you create within the App.

We do not collect device identifiers, location data, browsing history, financial information, or health data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the core functionality of the App, including:

• Authenticating your account and managing access.
• Displaying your name alongside work orders, tasks, and comments you create.
• Storing maintenance records, work orders, asset data, and associated photos for operational use by your organisation.
• Sending you notifications and emails related to work assignments, work requests, and shift handovers.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Your data is accessible only to:

• Authorised users within your organisation who have been granted access to the same site or workspace.
• Our hosting and authentication providers (cloud infrastructure services) who process data strictly to keep the App running and secure.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for the operational life of your organisation's use of the App. Account data may be deleted on request (see Section 6).

5. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission, secure authentication, and restricted access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

6. Your Privacy Rights and Account Deletion

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.

To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address in Section 7. Account deletion requests can also be submitted from within the App via the Account Deletion option in the user menu.

Once deletion is requested, your account data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is rated 4+ on the App Store.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on this page with an updated effective date.
